Flight Matching

The most effective way for CAN to match available flights with patient requests is to receive a corporation’s schedule. CAN frequently utilizes two-part flights, fractional hours and ground transportation to make a trip possible, so it is important the team has access to the available flights.

How it Works

  1. Company flight schedules within the United States (sent via electronic flight sharing software or email) are inputted into CAN’s secure database.

  2. If a patient flight request is matched with a corporate flight, a CAN representative will call the corporation’s designated contact to ask if seats are available on the flight. If the seats are not available or business activities prevent a CAN participant from joining that particular flight, there is no obligation and the request may be declined.

  3. If the flight is confirmed by the corporation, CAN provides the patient and corporation with detailed flight information. No patient is authorized for a flight without medical clearance from his or her physician.

Please note that this is CAN’s general model, but we understand that every partnership is unique.  We will work with you to develop the best process for your team.
